Den teknologiske udvikling og globale forandringer sker i stadigt stigende tempo, og for at hænge på skal både virksomheder og offentlige myndigheder være agile og eksperimentelle både strategisk, organisatorisk og operationelt. Erhvervslivet møder nye, fremspirende former for værdiskabelse såsom digitale platforme, deleøkonomi og cirkulære forretningsmodeller, mens det offentlige omfavner begreber som impact investment, shared value og co-production. Under komplekse forhold kan sådanne nye modeller imidlertid ikke blot "implementeres" i eksisterende organisationer. De skal snarere opdages gennem eksperimenteringsprocesser. Så hvad kræver det?

Dansk Design Center og Erhvervsstyrelsen inviterer beslutningstagere fra både erhvervsliv og offentlige organisationer til at udforske, hvordan man designer, udfører og skaber værdi gennem systematiske eksperimenter.

For virksomhedsledere vil vi undersøge fremkomsten af X Labs - dedikerede miljøer til at skabe nye produkter, services og forretningsmodeller.

For politiske beslutningstagere på internationalt, nationalt, regionalt og lokalt niveau vil vi undersøge, hvordan vi gør innovation og erhvervspolitik mere sammenhængende, forretningsorienteret og eksperimentel.

Sammen vil vi udvide vores syn på nye former for værdiskabelse og eksperimenter, her hvor vi går mod det enogtyvende århundredes tredje årti.

Experimentation by Design er et høj-interaktivt symposium, hvor deltagerne lærer ligeså meget af hinanden som af de inviterede talere og workshop-ledere.

Arrangementet vil bestå af keynote-indlæg fra førende personer indenfor forretnings- og policy-innovation, og af adskilte spor med fokus på temaer såsom design som eksperimentel strategi, fremsynethed, organisation og X-labs, værdi og effektmåling. Deltagerne vil blive udfordret til at foreslå, hvordan de ville designe den ultimative eksperimentelle organisation – set ud fra erhverv og policy.
