Distributed Design Award
What is Distributed Design?
Distributed Design is a new field emerging from two global trends: the Maker Movement (think DIY, recycling, "hacking" and open source) and the digitisation of the design discipline. This makes it possible to design, produce and fabricate products together globally; a sort of global co-creation.
The Distributed Design Award is given to an exemplary design that makes use of these new possibilites. Apart from celebrating the winner, we will also host a talk and a debate on the possibilites of this new way of working.
1. Visions for the future of distributed design
2. Announcing the 2019 winner
3. Panel debate with the winner
