Frédéric Beuvry is Senior Vice President of the Industrial Design Department at Schneider Electric Group. He is in charge of implementing the Group’s design strategy, drafting design standards and setting up a new department spanning six design studios (Grenoble, Boston, Adelaide, Bangalore, Shanghai and Monterey) as well as a software design department in Grenoble. Frédéric’s objective is to forge a strong, comprehensive and unified image that expresses the Group’s core values and to develop original, uncompromising and respected ergonomics.
Frédéric has previously held the position of Vice President of Corporate Design for all Group brands at Groupe SEB, in charge of redefining the brand identity, and of Industrial Design Director at Merloni Group, developing a design strategy that brought the group back into the number 2 spot in the French market in just two years.
Frédéric is involved with a number of other activities, such as Mission Design France where he is a member of the “Collège des Designers” board and has worked on the DGCA Collection Design “Capsules du Design” project. Frédéric is an adjunct professor at Sciences Po (Communication Master’s program), ENCP, ENSCI and Central Lyon.
