Line K. Vestergaard
Line Vestergaard is project assistant at the Danish Design Centre and she studies design anthropology at Aarhus University. Exploring how design can be applied in a strategic business approach is her main interest. Line is thus working on Design Journey – DDC’s new, ambitious national effort towards small and medium-sized businesses.
As an anthropologist Line is experienced in qualitative methods, which she will apply in the project Smart Greater Copenhagen, which revolves around creating a regional strategy for a digital future. Methodology is of great interest to Line, which entails a constant exploration of how ethnographic methods can be combined with design methods and approaches to knowledge production.
Prior to working at Danish Design Centre Line has been working with social innovation and research-based evaluation of large-scale cultural events. Line has carried out ethnographic fieldwork in Denmark as well as abroad.
