Sidsel Winther is a project manager in Danish Design Centre and works primarily with design-driven and customer-centric business development within small and medium-sized enterprises.
With her customer-centric mindset Sidsel is eager to challenge common ways of thinking of development and design as well as eager to be part of creating valuable and meaningful products, services and processes.
The last years Sidsel has worked strategically with customer and user involvement in the private sector. She has advised companies on how to involve their customers in their development processes and how to put customers in the center of their decision-making processes to eventually create better products, services and processes.
Sidsel has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen and is specialized in the unfolding of creative, auditive processes of creation and practices within the tension field of art and business. With anthropology as a starting point she has extensive experience with ethnographic data creation and qualitative analysis. Furthermore, Sidsel aims to explore and understand why people act the way they do and how they create meaning in their lives within the context of the technology and the products they use, their physical surroundings and the social and cultural processes they are a part of.
